Our Little Tigers instructors have over the years put together a comprehensive, enjoyable curriculum for the younger Karate students. All First aid qualified and with years of experience in Karate and in teaching, this team love seeing the progress their Little Tigers make.

Sensei Rachel Woodrow
Lead instructor – ‘Little Tigers” Karate
2nd Kyu Brown belt in Shotokan Karate (K.K.A.)
Rachel has been the assistant instructor at the Little Tigers Karate Academy for over 2 years and also looks after the new kids that join or graduate to the Friday Fun class for 'Big people'. Rachel has over 20 years experience as an early childhood teacher.

3rd Degree Black belt in Shotokan Karate (S.I.A.)
2nd Degree Black belt in Shotokan Karate (AJKA international)
1st Degree Black belt in Kobudo (RKKNZ)
1st Degree Black belt in Zendo kai Karate
1st Degree Black belt in Gokanryu Karate
Allan began his Karate training at the age of 8 and has studied many different martial arts over the years including Kempo, Kobudo and Bujinkan Ninjitsu.

Chairman and Chief instructor of Shotokan International Alliance (S.I.A.) and 8th degree Black belt. Otis Sensei is based at Shotokan Karate Hawkes Bay.
All KKA Karate Dan gradings are under Otis Sensei.
